June Stinnette ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Cox Funeral Home - Hamilton on Mar. 17, 2026.June Willene Stinnette, 78, of Pine Mountain died Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown Hospital.Mrs. Stinette was born on June 18, 1947 in Chipley, GA, the daughter of William Thornton Davis and Cora Maude Davis. She was a lifelong resident of Harris County and retired after over thirty years of dedicated service as the manager of the Country Kitchen at Callaway Gardens. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pine Mountain and attended faithfully when she could. She enjoyed being outdoors and fishing as much as possible. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Jones.She is survived by her husband of fifty-six years, Carroll Douglas Stinnette, Sr. of Pine Mountain; children, Carroll Douglas Stinnette, Jr. of Shiloh and Tonya Denise Stinnette of Phenix City, AL; brother, Ira (Sue) Davis of Pine Mountain; Grandson, Damon McGruder of Phenix City, AL; Nephews, Dedrick Thornton Davis and Robert William Davis, both of Peachtree City, GA.The family will receive friends for visitation to celebrate the life of Mrs. Stinnette will be held at Cox Funeral Home - Hamilton; March 26 from 6pm till 8pm.Cox Funeral Home - Hamilton, is assisting the family with arrangements.
