June Slavoff, 95, of Battle Creek, Michigan, passed away on March 11, 2026. Born on December 3, 1930, in Detroit, she graduated from Jackson High School in 1948 and married Paul Slavoff on August 29 of that same year. June worked in the research department at Post Cereal for 28 years before retiring. She and Paul were the proud founders and builders of St. Elias Orthodox Church, where they both sang in the choir and June served as choir director. The couple also served on the church board, and June was an active member of the sisterhood. She loved music, singing, bowling, winter trips to Florida, and reading books.
June is survived by her children, Stephanie and Larry Zoley of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, Melanie and Steve Kent of Battle Creek, Paula and Hank Wofford of Battle Creek, and daughter-in-law Sherry Slavoff of Battle Creek. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, as well as step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, along with her special Florida friends, Jan and Doug. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Paul, her son Michael, her siblings, and her parents and adopted parents.
