She spent her formative years navigating the challenges of World War II, often sharing vivid memories of hearing the air-raid sirens and taking cover in bomb shelters. In April 1957, she moved to the United States and married Robert Heisler, yet she remained a proud British citizen throughout her life, never losing her fondness for a proper cup of tea and biscuits.A Legacy of Laughter, Love and CompassionJune was a "magnet" to everyone she met. Known for her sassiness and keen sense of humor, June would always find a way to bring a laugh into any room in virtually any situation. She also had a very kind, caring, and giving nature, she had that rare quality of attracting people and making them feel heard. She loved to talk, but her conversations were almost always centered on others. June also possessed a deep compassion for those in need and would always be willing to help anyone in any way she could. Outside of her family and friends, she took great joy in caring for her beloved cats, Barney and Buddy. Her wisdom was simple but profound: "Everyone should get along and treat each other the way you want to be treated. What's done is done; love each other and don't forget your family." June hoped she brought smiles and laughter to the people she encountered; she loved her family and animals, she loved life. Her FamilyJune leaves behind a vast legacy of joy, laughter and love, spanning four generations.
