June Ann Balser

June Ann Balser

September 14, 1959 March 14, 2026

Erlanger, KY

June Ann Balser, lovingly known as “JuneAnn,” was born on September 14, 1959, to June and Robert Rothfuss. She passed peacefully on March 14, 2026, surrounded by the love that defined her life. Small in stature at just 4’11”, June possessed a heart that was immeasurably large. Family was not simply a priority for her; it was her entire world.

She is survived by her sisters, Bert and Debbie (Gary), who were her closest friends throughout life, sharing an unbreakable bond filled with laughter and cherished holiday gatherings with their children. She is also survived by her brothers Tom (Teresa), Rick (Tina), and Dan (Teri). She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles “Rick” Balser, her brother Tim (Brenda) Rothfuss, and her niece and nephew Ashley and Dane.

June was a devoted mother to her son Jason, whom she loved beyond measure and of whom she was endlessly proud. Some of her happiest moments were spent sitting beside him, watching the waves roll in at the beach. She was a deeply adoring Mimi to her grandchildren Jaxon, Jase, and Sage, delighting in their presence and finding joy in the sound of their footsteps overhead. She also cherished her grand pup, Charley Michelle, and was a loving and supportive mother-in-law to Casey.

A faithful accountant for many years, June brought dedication and a sharp mind to her work. In retirement, she focused her energy on what mattered most: spoiling her grandchildren and loving her large family. She is survived by many nieces and nephews—Christie, Chris, Jenny, Timmy, Jeff, Gary, Amy, Jessica, Robbie, Kyle, Andi, Dawn, Ricky, Cody, Clint, Cassidy, and Chance—along with seventeen great-nieces and nephews. Her lifelong best friend, Kim (Larry), remained a steadfast presence throughout her life.

June’s kind heart, generous soul, and boundless love for her family touched everyone who knew her. She found joy in simple pleasures—the ocean waves, holiday gatherings, and the everyday sounds of life and love. Her gentle presence and quiet, steady affection remain woven into the hearts of all who loved her.
