Juliette Beres was born in Sonnac, Aveyron, France, in 1921, the daughter of Frederic Calmejane and Marie Rey. She came to the United States in the late 1950s with her three children when her husband was assigned as Air Force Attaché at the French Embassy in Washington, D.C. For twenty-five years she worked as a purchasing agent at the French Military Mission, procuring spare parts for military aircraft.
She is survived by her son Christian and his wife Nicole, her daughter Danielle and her husband Abou, grandchildren Alexandre, Patricia, Karim, and Aissatou, and great-grandchildren Nathan, Lucie, Jonah, and Aaron. She was preceded in death by her son Patrice and her granddaughter Natacha.
Throughout her life Juliette offered her family tender love and steadfast support. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
