Born in Oakland, California, Julie spent her life in the East Bay surrounded by family, friends, and the community she cared deeply about. Julie dedicated many years of her career as a social worker with Alameda County Social Services Agency, where she was known for her compassion, kindness, and commitment to helping others. Her work reflected the person she was-someone who always looked out for people who needed support. Above everything, Julie's greatest joy was her family. She treasured time spent with her daughters and especially loved creating memories with her grandchildren. Family vacations and simple moments together meant the world to her, and those memories will be cherished forever. Julie is survived by her loving daughters, Christina Greer and Teresa Martinez, and her beloved grandchildren, Isabel Greer and Nathan Greer. Her love, warmth, and devotion to her family will continue to live on through them. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
