Julie Kathryn Davis Smith

Julie Kathryn Davis Smith, 84, of Nahunta, passed away on Thursday afternoon, March 12, 2026, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick following an extended illness.

Born in Screven, Georgia, to James “Jim” Davis and Kathleen “Anderson” Davis, Julie was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Smith; two brothers, Donald Davis and Quinton Davis; and a sister, Reba Taylor.

A homemaker, Julie found quiet joy in reading and listening to music. She is survived by her sons, Richard Hagan and Scott Smith, and daughter-in-law Tina Smith, all of Nahunta; her sister, Diane Stephens of Jesup; her sister-in-law, Betty Davis of Jesup; and many cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.
