Julie Ann Demotte

Julie Ann Demotte, age 62, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 8, 2026. Born in Princeton, Illinois, on July 2, 1963, to Omer Madison Chaney and Joyce Davis, she grew up surrounded by a large and loving family.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Kevin Chaney of Lexington, Kentucky. Julie is remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose quiet strength and steadfast love touched everyone around her.

She is survived by her husband and companion, Donnie Demotte; her son, Joshua Jackson (Erica) of Nevada, Missouri; and her three cherished grandchildren, Amari, Emilio, and Annabella. She also leaves behind her sisters, Carmen Foster of Richmond, Kentucky, Melissa Chaney of Illinois, Dara Chaney of Lexington, Kentucky, and Theresa Franklin of North Carolina, as well as her brother, Dale Chaney (Anna) of Nicholasville, Kentucky. Her family will miss her deeply and carry her memory with them always.
