Julian Jimmie Carter Sr

Julian Jimmie Carter Sr., known to all as Jimmie, of Richlands, North Carolina, passed away on March 10, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born on October 20, 1938, in Richlands, Jimmie was the son of Rufus Carter and Lizzie Dail Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings Clara, Annie, Bud, George, Vivian, Rufus, Felix, and James, as well as his grandson Joshua.

Jimmie is survived by his siblings Jerry and Leda Ray, and by his children Bob Carter, Kimberley Gatbunton and her husband Bob, Ann Rice and her husband Matt, JuLeeia Rosenburg and her husband Damen, and JJ Carter Jr. and his wife Amber. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Daniel, Jessica, Dylan, Jordan, Jake, Justin, Jared, Sadie, Caleb, Kamden, and Payton, and his great-grandchildren Madelyn and Bradley, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins who will cherish his memory.
