Judy Thomas ObituaryPublished by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 17, 2026.Judith Ann Thomas, 85, of Lake Havasu City, passed away on February 27th 2026 in Las Vegas after a short illness.A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 27th at 1PM in Lake Havasu at Mount Olive Lutheran Church where Judy was an active member for over 25 years. Judy was born to Art and Alice Swiggum family in Ferryville, WI on February 16th, 1941, the first of 4 children. She lived in Wisconsin until she married Conrad Overbo and, moved to California. This is where she made her life for the next 40 years. She and Conrad had 3 children, Carmen Fuller, Brenda Milos and Adam Overbo. Judy was a hard worker who balanced her parenting duties while working full-time. After divorcing Conrad, Judy married Richard (Dick) Thomas and moved to Lake Havasu City. There they built a home and a life that anyone would envy. Judy loved to be involved and make a difference. She retired and became busier than ever with the Church, the Moose Lodge, Republican Women's Group, TOPS, the Judy club, and Red Hat Purple Dress club. Judy wasn't just a member of these groups. She was an active and engaged participant in each group, a natural leader and could be counted on to step in and make decisions if needed. She was an amazing human being with a heart of gold, an undying faith in the Lord and a smile that lit up the room. Judy is preceded in death by her parents, her ex-husband Conrad Overbo, and Dick Thomas.Judy is survived by her three children, two step-daughters, three siblings, twelve grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and hundreds of friends that were close enough to be family.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
