Sneedville, TN

Judy Rose Williams, age 72, of Sneedville, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born to Elbert (Rufus) and Flora Collins, she grew up in the area and confessed her faith at an early age at the Church of God of Prophecy in Pennington Gap.

Judy cherished the simple life shared with family and a wide circle of friends. She loved to cook and took great joy in feeding others. Known for her “tell it like it is” personality, she was a small, petite woman who was fierce, feisty, and fearless. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Taylor and Liza Jane Collins and Lee and Ida O’Dell; her brother, Edward (Bubby) Collins; her sister, Margie Hurd; her special granddaughter, Cassie Grace Williams; her ex-husband, Billy Williams; her neighbor, Annell Seal; her longtime companion, Andy Hall; and many dear work friends.

Judy is survived by her son, Tommy Williams; her daughter, Tanya (Tommy-Wolfie) Wolford; her grandchildren, Devin “Grasshopper” Johnson, Allison Hopkins, Alyssa “Lyssa” Williams, Anessa “Lil britches” Winstead, and Emma “Emma bug” Williams; her great-grandchildren, Kash “Kash Ryder” Williams, Kaylum Williams, Aalayiah Williams, and Easton “Lil Wolfie” Wolford; her brothers, Gary “Jack” Collins and Lonnie “Bo” Collins; her sisters, Ada Burchett, Brenda Coldiron, and Kathy Hatfield, with whom she shared a especially close bond; her step-children, Josh Williams, Christopher “Brock” Williams, Tim Seal, and Vickey Collins; along with many nieces, nephews, and a large circle of longtime friends including Pat Peach, Pam Mullins, Sue Mullins, Willie Amos, Tammy Williams, Doris Johnson, Penny Greene, Debbie Stahl, and Vickie Collins. She also leaves behind her beloved fur baby, Marlie.
