Judy R. Walden

Judy R. Walden

January 15, 1950 March 11, 2026

Bradenton, FL

Judy R. Walden, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed peacefully on March 11, 2026, at her home in Bradenton, surrounded by loved ones.

Born on January 15, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia, to Virginia and PJ Rogers Jr., Judy graduated from West Georgia College before marrying the love of her life, Lowell M. Walden, on March 18, 1972. The couple moved to Florida, where they built a life centered on faith, service, and family. Together they co-owned several businesses in real estate and network marketing while remaining deeply active in their church. Judy led small groups, taught in children’s programs, sang in the choir, and found countless ways to serve others. She possessed a quick wit and warm sense of humor that kept her family laughing every day.

A loving and faithful wife, Judy deeply cherished her husband Lowell. She was a dear sister to Nancy, Bill, Jay, and Jim, and a devoted mother and grandmother who left a legacy of love in the hearts of her daughter Gini, son-in-law John Jason, and grandson Rusty. As an aunt, she delighted in her nieces and nephews—David and Michael, Lisa and Bill, Ashley and Jonathan, James, Robby, and Beth—and took special joy in her great-nieces and great-nephews, always reminding them how special and loved they were.

Though multiple sclerosis left her homebound in her later years, Judy continued to radiate kindness, faith, and joy to everyone around her. She prayed daily for her family and friends, always asking how she could pray for them. Her gentle presence and warm spirit remained a blessing to all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Lowell, daughter Gini and son-in-law John Jason, grandson Rusty, brothers Bill (Elizabeth), Jay (Susan), and Jim (Janet), and many beloved nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Nancy.
