Judy Mae Parsley, 74, of Logan, West Virginia, passed away on March 12, 2026, at Logan Regional Medical Center. Born on October 8, 1951, in Hamlin, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Gladys M. Birt Wallen.
In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Rebecca Parsley; her sister, Kathy Hughes; her brother, Teddy E. Wallen; her brother-in-law, Larry E. Kammerer; and her father- and mother-in-law, Everette “Red” Parsley Jr. and Betty Jane Holdren Parsley.
Judy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt who found deep joy in spending time with her family and in cooking for them. She leaves behind her daughter, Jennifer Parsley of Logan; her sons, William “Bill” Parsley of Logan and Scott (Carrie) Parsley of Danville; her sister, Barbara Kammerer of Omar; and her brothers, John E. (Ella) Wallen of Jeffrey and William H. “Billy” (Devatta “Janie”) Wallen of Brunswick, Ohio. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Emily Hughes and Katie Hughes of Logan, Phillip A. (Breianna) Messer of Danville, and Emily E. (Cory) Adams of Beaverton, Oregon; her great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ezekiel Messer; and her honorary grandchildren, Janie Parsley, Waylon, Larra and Gus Elkins, Memphis Pridemore, and Ryden and Ryleigh Hughes.
