A woman defined by her devotion to family, she spent many years serving her community as a cook at the Greenwood Family Restaurant in Troutville. She was a loving mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and friend who cherished every moment spent with those she loved.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harvey Keene, and her siblings, Brenda Thomas and Ralph Hogan.Her memory will be cherished by her surviving family:Her Daughters:Barbara Huffman and her husband, Bruce, of New Castle, VATeresa Scarberry and her husband, Robin of Floyd County, VAHer sons:Randy Keene of New Castle, VADavid Abbott of Roanoke, VAHer brother, Lee Hogan, and his wife, Rose of Roanoke, VAGrandchildren, Natasha Abbott, Keiffer Abbott, Olivia Wolf, Autumn Huffman, Summer Huffman, Daniel Scarberry, Brianna Scarberry, Rebecca Scarberry, Allison ScarberryA graveside funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the Day Cemetery located in Bearwallow, Virginia.
