Judy Lockerman

Judy Lockerman, of Duluth, Georgia, passed away on March 9, 2026, after a long battle with cancer and lung disease caused by chemotherapy. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.

Born on September 1, 1952, in Live Oak, Florida, to Foye Aubrey Lee and Susie Pauline Lee, Judy spent her early years in O’Brien, Florida. The family moved to Gainesville in 1966, where she graduated from Gainesville High School in 1970. She worked for 30 years at the University of Florida before retiring in 2000 and moving to Duluth, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Joann Lee, and her brothers Tommy Lee, Lanny Lee, and Jimmy Lee.

Judy is survived by her husband of 54 years, Gregory “Garry” Lockerman, her daughter Jessica Parrish (Scott), her son Jeffrey Lockerman, granddaughter Catelyn Parrish, grandsons Colton Parrish (Skylar) and Chase Parrish, her sister Linda McCallum, brothers Jerald Lee (Judy) and Ronnie Lee (Kris), and many nieces and nephews. She cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, family holiday gatherings, trips to the beach, visits to waterfalls, watching sunsets, the changing leaves, and snow.
