Judy K. Hass

Judy K. Hass, 77, a lifetime resident of Jonesboro died Thursday, March 5, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born in Jonesboro on June 9, 1948, to Fred and Thelma Trusty. She was a member of Fairview Missionary Baptist Church for over 44 years where not only did she play the piano and sing, but in later years serve as the church secretary/treasurer. Later her and her family moved their membership to Prospect Missionary Baptist Church. Judy was an amazing cook and according to her family, she could cook anything, but her specialties were her meatloaf and homemade rolls. She loved her family but showed even more love to her grands and then even more love for her great grands. Family trips to Branson were special and done every year. Her lifelong calling was in real estate. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Tommy Bittle; sons, Timothy Bittle and Tony R. Bittle; stepson, Michael Hass; a granddaughter, Carolyn Chouiniere; and a sister, Jacklyn Barnett.

Survivors include her husband of 23 years, John Hass of the home; sons, Tobey Bittle and wife Marie of Bay; Tyler Bittle and wife Kim; stepdaughter, Melanie Fulton and husband Steve; daughter in law, Sherry Bittle all of Jonesboro; 7 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 nieces and 1 nephew.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Paul White, Mike Book and Gary Henderson officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements. Burial will follow at Nettleton Cemetery with Joe Adams, Kevin Parker, Gerald Patterson, Chris Wheeler, Steve Fulton, Kyle Hass, Thomas Bittle and Chris Barnett serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Frank Winkles, Tobey Bittle and Tyler Bittle. Visitation will be from 1:00 until service time.
