Judy Jane DeRusha, affectionately known as Juju, passed away on the morning of March 10, 2026. A woman of deep faith and quiet strength, she lived a life firmly rooted in her devotion to Christ, her love for family, and her steadfast trust in God’s promises.
For much of her professional life, Judy worked in appraisal and held several roles in county service. In her later years, she intentionally chose work that allowed her to devote more time to caring for her family, both immediate and extended. She was the family’s prayer warrior, finding joy and strength in scripture and sharing God’s hope and grace through her kindness, compassion, and unyielding faith.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Edward and Lillie Mae DeRusha, her sisters Joan and Nancy, her former husband Mack Carr, and her sister-in-law Deloyce DeRusha.
She is survived by her brother Bobby DeRusha and his wife Cathy of Uvalde, Texas; her three sons, Rusty Carr of Bandera, Texas and his wife Cheryl, Justin Graham of Centerpoint, Texas and his wife Kayte, and Jacob Graham of Bandera, Texas; her former husband H.G. Graham; and her beloved grandchildren, Kenza Carr, Lincoln Graham, Redford Graham, and Wallace Graham. She also leaves behind cherished cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many extended family members and friends who were blessed by her presence.
