Judy Isbell Galamore

Judy Isbell Galamore passed away peacefully at the age of 74 on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born in Birmingham, Alabama, to Buck and Gladys Isbell, Judy spent most of her life in the Chelsea community she held so dear. After high school, she earned her nursing degree from UAB and devoted her career to caring for others, first spending many years tending to infants in the cardiac care unit at UAB and later serving as a home healthcare nurse. A woman of deep Christian faith, Judy possessed a servant’s heart and found genuine joy in helping those around her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and three siblings, Hoyt Isbell, Sylvia Dorough, and Sandra Crawford. Judy is survived by her three beloved children, Maggie, Shane, and Nick Galamore, and she cherished her role as Nana to her five granddaughters. She is also survived by her brothers Harry and Gary Isbell.

She will be laid to rest at K-Springs Cemetery.
