Judy Irene Moresi

Judy Irene Moresi, née Hassler, of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at the age of 82. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Robert Moresi, the cherished daughter of the late Buel and Betty Hassler, and the devoted mother of Thomas R. Moresi II and his wife Christina, and Scott N. Moresi and his wife Veronica. She was the loving grandmother of Thomas R. Moresi III, Soren Moresi, and Alexander Moresi, and a dear best friend to Maggie.

A proud member of Sisters in Crime and Mystery Writers of America, Judy was a published author of two murder mystery novels, Widow’s Walk and Tribal Fires. She was also the family historian, devoting countless hours to genealogy and the careful preservation of her family’s stories. Above all, she was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and step-grandmother whose quiet devotion touched everyone around her.

Judy was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
