Judy Elizabeth Towne (Ariges), 63, of Manchester, New Hampshire, passed away on Wednesday, March 4th, at her home after a long illness. She was born on December 27, 1962, in Kittery, Maine, to James Ariges and Elizabeth Gould.

Judy married David Lee Towne on August 15, 1999, in Fairfield, Maine. Though they married in Maine, she spent most of her married life in Manchester. A graduate of Concord High School, Class of 1981, Judy dedicated her career to her passion for people. She began in café services at West High School and later transitioned to caregiving with Seniors 360. She spoke fondly of the many students and seniors she served throughout the years.

A woman of many talents, Judy held a deep love for the arts. Her creativity was evident in her beautiful centerpieces and the handmade gifts she shared with loved ones—from unique wall art to the cozy crochet blankets she made for her family to use.

Judy has been reunited with her late husband, David Lee Towne, and her father, James Ariges. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, Savannah Towne; her three cherished grandchildren, Isaiah, Amiya, and Kamden; her mother, Elizabeth Gould; her sisters, Cherylann Matott and Theresa Auger; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to honor Judy’s life on March 28th from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Sundance Village Clubhouse, 1915 Front Street, Manchester, NH.
