Judy Elizabeth Blanchard
February 8, 1948— March 10, 2026
Enfield, CT
Judy Elizabeth Blanchard, 78, of Enfield, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. A strong-willed woman, Judy cherished the time she spent with those she loved most. Her greatest joy came from her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. She delighted in gathering everyone for Sunday family dinners, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.
Judy found pleasure in life’s simple things. She loved puzzles and games, followed her favorite soap operas faithfully, and spent many contented hours on her tablet playing solitaire or cooking. A longtime childcare provider, she cared deeply for the children in her charge, many of whom stayed in touch with her through the years. Her determination, humor, and spirited nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her.
She was predeceased by her first husband, George Pease; her second husband, Paul Blanchard; her mother, Shirley Martins; and her brothers, Tony and Manny Martins.
Judy leaves behind her brothers David and Bobby Martins and her sisters Linda Marek and Mary Mason. She is also survived by her loving children, Eric Pease and his wife Marci, Paul Blanchard and his wife Bethany, and Angie Broussard and her husband James, as well as her cherished grandchildren Kaylie, Emily, Cameron, Noah, James, and Lorelai, along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Her love for her family, her strength of character, and the memories she created with those closest to her will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
