Judy Bates

Judy Bates, born January 31, 1944, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2026.

A loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Judy centered her life around her family. She is survived by her two children, Chris Cocklin and Cindy Williams, who will forever cherish the love and memories she gave them.

Judy was a devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren and a great-grandmother to eight great-grandchildren, along with four bonus great-grandchildren who held a special place in her heart. Her family continues to grow, with one great-great-grandchild on the way. Though she made her home in Arizona for more than 30 years, she wished to be laid to rest in Iowa, near the family members she had lovingly remembered and mourned.

She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
