Judy Ann Church

Judy Ann Church passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at her home in Lake View, South Carolina, after an illness.

Born in Hartsville, South Carolina, she was the daughter of Sam Johnson and the late Lucy Stratton Johnson. A longtime member of Lake View Pentecostal Holiness Church, Judy devoted more than 35 years to her career as a bank teller, first with Lake View Banking and later with First Citizens Bank of Lake View until her retirement. She cherished her family above all and was lovingly known as MiMi to her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Richard Church; her father, Sam Johnson, age 95; her son, Ritchie Church (Brantley); her daughter, Hope Jackson (Sam); her brothers, David Johnson (Sherrie), Myrt Johnson (Debra), Kent Johnson (Cindy), and Bobby Johnson (Lisa); her grandchildren, Callie Church, Paisley Jackson, and Lexi Jackson; and her brother-in-law, Danny Church (Sharon).

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her brother, Earl Johnson, and her grandson, Ethan Church.
