Judy A. (Plummer) Cathers

Judy A. (Plummer) Cathers, 78, of Latrobe, passed away on March 8, 2026, at Greene Health and Rehabilitation in Greensburg. Born on February 12, 1948, in Wilpen, she was the daughter of the late Albert I. Plummer Sr. and Lydia C. (Beck) Plummer Campbell.

Before retiring, Judy worked at the Wingate Inn. She found simple joy in playing bingo and bowling, activities that reflected her easygoing and sociable nature.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Albert I. “Butch” Plummer Jr., and two sisters, Alberta Furtak (Francis) and Lyndora DeGrandis (Francis “Cisco”).

Judy is survived by her husband, Lloyd J. Cathers Jr., of Latrobe; her son, Francis Plummer (Michelle); two grandsons, Joseph Plummer (Hope) and John Plummer (Breana); six great-grandchildren, Masyn, Parker, Braydon, Briella, Richard, and Alex Plummer; and her nieces and nephew, Carol Clark, Sherry Parsons, and Walter Cole Jr.
