Judson Ervin "peewee" Phillips

Judson Ervin Phillips, Age 79 of Washington Court House, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 06, 2026 at 12:55 pm. He was surrounded by family and friends and under the care of National Church Residences Hospice. Born on March 03, 1947. He was the son of the late John Phillips and Dorothy Phillips.

Judson worked at Stanley Mac Tools for 35 years. He enjoyed playing cards with his closest friends Jim and Sue Bunch. He loved fishing and making football bets with his grandson Yuma Phillips. Judson was a man of great fight and loved to joke about anything and everything he possibly could, especially about reading the paper to see if his name was yet in the obituary. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Judson was a dedicated husband to his wife Ethel and a loving father, and papaw.

Judson was preceded in Death by his parents John and Dorothy Phillips and brother's Jimmy Phillips, Jerry Phillips, Jon Phillips, Jay Phillips, Jessie Phillips, and Joey Phillips and his sister's Jackie Tarbill, and Janie Jones and one of his children Jeffrey Phillips.

Surviving family member includes his beloved wife of 58 years, Ethel Phillips and two children Andy (Jane) Phillips and Dawn (Marty) Martinez and his sister Judy Sanderson. Grandchildren includes: Hayley (Randy) Oty, Kyley (Chris) Parrish, Kaylee Davis, Carley Phillips, Yuma (Brettani) Phillips, Jacob Phillips, Julian Martinez, Emma Martinez, Skylar Martinez, and Tucker Martinez. Great Grandchildren includes: Tobias Dale, Kiera Joe, Jaxton Oliver, Syrus Phillips, Andrew Phillips, Noah Davis, Willow Beech and Winston Beech. Along with a host of and nieces and nephews and friends.

A private celebration of life will be held and announced by the family at a later time.
