Judith Shattuck

Judith “Judy” Shattuck, 83, of Enfield, New Hampshire, passed away on March 12, 2026, finally free of the Alzheimer’s Disease she had bravely endured. Born on January 16, 1943, to Sarah (Bowen) Davis/Burnham and Webster Davis, Judy grew up in Quechee and White River Junction. In 1965 she married Richard Shattuck and together they made their home in Enfield for forty years before later living in Claremont and Charlestown, New Hampshire. For more than thirty years she worked as a lunch lady at both Hanover High School and Mascoma Valley Regional High School, where her warm presence was fondly remembered by generations of students.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband Richard in 2015, her baby brother Richard Davis, brother Sonny Davis, sister Lucy Barrell, half-siblings Boyd and Penny Davis, nephew Scott Davis, nieces Tina Davis and Mikki Virgus, and great-nephew Christopher Dixon.

She is survived by her daughter Missy Pearce and son-in-law Chris, her grandson Wyatt, her sister Beverly Stevens, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Judy had a special love for cats and found great joy in her feline companions. Her family will hold a graveside service for Judy and Richard together this summer.
