She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Spear and Alta Spear (Mace); and her sister LeAnn Dowse. She is survived by: her husband Wesley Blain; her daughters, Barb Wieczorek (Mark), Karen Brougham (Steven) and Dorinda Hempel (Kevin); her grandchildren, Bud, Ana, Justin, Cameron, Elizabeth, Cassidy, Alyssa and Crystal; and her great grandchildren, Jose, David, Lilyana, Grace, Noah, Jabrial, Millie, Damian and Nash.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the All Faiths Funeral Home (2929 S Locust St, Grand Island, NE 68801). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Abundant Life Christian Center (3411 W Faidley Ave, Grand Island, NE 68803).

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
