Judith Pistilli ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Grace Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home - Hudson on Mar. 2, 2026.Judith M. Pistilli was born on September 9, 1940, at Horton Memorial Hospital in Middletown, NY, and passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family at the age of 85 on February 25, 2026.The daughter of Fred and Margaret Fox, Judy grew up in Walden, NY. She spent 30 years as a beautician at Snip & Clip beauty salon in Goshen, NY, where she was a familiar and friendly face to many in the community. In 1986, she met her loving husband, Joseph, beginning a beautiful chapter that led them to retire to Spring Hill, FL. They called Florida home for nearly three decades, spending their time traveling, enjoying the beach, and hunting for treasures while antiquing. Judy and Joe also spent many hours finding joy in gardening and decorating their home. And more recently, Judy looked forward to evening visits with her devoted neighbor, Ellen, and her dog, Tater Tot.Judy had a lifelong heart for service. Throughout her years, she selflessly cared for many elderly family members, neighbors, and friends, offering comfort and dignity to those in need. Her loved ones will deeply miss her unique expressions of love and her devotion to her family, but they are comforted knowing she is at peace.Judy was predeceased by her husband, Joseph. In a final act of devotion, they walked into the next life together, with Judy following Joe into peace just days later. She is survived by her daughters, Naydene (Behrens) Carmody and Tracey Behrens O'Brien; her son, Robert Pistilli; son-in-law, Michael, and daughter-in-law, Debbie; her cherished grandchildren, Sage, Emma, and Tori; and her sister, Sue Bardin.Judy would most want to be remembered for her independence and her dedication to those in her care. She was a woman of strong opinions and an even stronger heart, serving others in her own unique and determined way. Her family finds comfort in knowing that her spirit is now at rest, leaving behind a legacy as vibrant and singular as she was.In lieu of sending flowers, please plant something vivacious in your own garden (or on your windowsill) in her memory. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
