Judith "Judy" Callahan passed away peacefully on March 9, 2026. With her remarkable gift for hospitality, Judy opened both her Miami Avenue home and her heart to friends and family. She took special joy in welcoming loved ones, making holidays especially warm and memorable. To know Judy was to feel embraced, well-fed, and often invited onto the dance floor.
She was deeply devoted to her family and community. For more than 30 years, Judy worked in the Falmouth Public Schools, where she cared for the students she supported with patience, encouragement, and genuine warmth. She brought that same nurturing spirit into her own home as a natural teacher and devoted mother.
Judy is survived by her devoted husband and dance partner, Gerald "Jerry" Callahan, and by her loving daughters Corinne Callahan, Dawn Chaves, and Kathy Labrie. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Kevin Callahan. She was a proud and loving grandmother to her four grandsons, Donald Drew Jr., Jonathan Drew, Jeffrey Peras, and Matthew Labrie, and a cherished great-grandmother to Evelyn Labrie. Her family finds comfort in the many memories she created and the open door she always kept for those she loved. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
