February 9, 1937— March 5, 2026
Superior, WI
Judith C. Cochrane, 89, of Superior, Wisconsin, passed away on March 5, 2026, at Twin Ports Health.
Born on February 9, 1937, in Superior, Judy was the daughter of Julie and Carroll Anderson. She graduated from Cathedral School and spent many years as an infant and toddler teacher at the YMCA. In 1968, she married David Cochrane, and together they shared fifty-five years of marriage until his passing in 2023.
Judy cherished time with her family above all. She attended every sporting event, birthday party, and milestone for her children and grandchildren, and she lovingly cared for her grandchildren in her home. Known for her boundless hospitality, she welcomed everyone with open arms, ensured no one left hungry, and created a home where the word “no” was never heard. She loved to laugh, dance, play cribbage, bowl with Dave, and play Bunko with her girlfriends. In her youth, she enjoyed playing softball and riding horses. Above all, she delighted in spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband David, her birth-sister Judy Wilson, and her birth-mother Jane (Petite) Oglesbee. She is survived by her children Jeanne (Dale) Myer, Casey (Marcy) Cochrane, Tamara (Gary) Bosiacki, Jeffrey (Brenda) Bachinski, Jack (Debbie) Bachinski, Jim Bachinski, and Todd (Fiona) Bachinski; her birth-sister Dorothy Riedler; her birth-brother Dennis (Ellen) Jaros; her sisters-in-law Mary Cochrane and Cathy Amorde; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
