Judith B. RauchBorn: January 17, 1941Died: March 15, 2026 Judith B. RauchAge 85, of Lockport, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio, Judy lived in various Cleveland suburbs before relocating to Richton Park, Illinois. She lived there for many years before moving to the Lago Vista Community in Lockport in 2004.Judy worked in an office where she made lifelong friends. She also co-owned Ridge Nuts and Candy store in Lansing, Illinois for a few years in the 1990's with her late husband, John. They also owned apartment buildings after that until they retired. Judy had a great smile and was always laughing. An avid Chicago Bears fan, enjoyed shopping, going to the theater, attending church, and gatherings with her friends from Lago Vista. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family.Preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Rauch (2009); parents, Clyde and Kathryn (nee Ostermaier) Beachy; and her brother, Jack Beachy.Survived by her two devoted daughters, Judy Bohne and Janine (Dan Pipkin) Rauch; her adored granddaughter, Nikki (Nathanael) Lindemann; one step-granddaughter, Amber (James) Clark; cherished great grandson, Giovanni Lindemann; and many step-grandchildren, step-great grandchildren, and one step great - great grandson.In lieu of flowers, memorials to an animal rescue, charity, or shelter of donor's choice in Judith's name would be greatly appreciated.Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, in the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel 1105 E. 9th St. Lockport, IL 60441 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm. Funeral Service and Burial will be PRIVATE.
