Judith Alene Weeks

Judith Alene Weeks, age 85, of Plain City, Ohio, passed away on March 8, 2026, at her residence. Born on December 7, 1940, in Cook County, Illinois, to Kenneth and Gertrude Smith, Judy grew up with a warmth and energy that would define her life.

She retired from her role as secretary at the Plain City Presbyterian Church. Earlier, she owned and operated the florist shop Petals and Pot Pourri, where she took great joy in flower arranging. Judy loved to cook, especially for large gatherings and family celebrations. She cherished shopping and took special delight in buying gifts for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she adored. Each farming season, she could be found delivering meals to her husband Harry and his crew in the fields from the back of their van. She had a deep fondness for the color purple, particularly when it featured butterflies.

Judy is survived by her children, Scott (Loretta) Weeks of Marysville, Ohio, Andy (Leanne) Weeks of Plain City, Ohio, and Janet (Chris) Johnston of Plain City, Ohio; her grandchildren, Chris (Catherine) Weeks, Nate (Gaby) Weeks, Kylie Meeks, Kate (Tyler) Yutzy, Caryn (Tyler) Linsky, Kristen (Cody) Price, Clayton (Kimberly) Weeks, Mackenzie (David) Beltz, Graham (Jessica) Johnston, Connor (Krista) Johnston, and Madelyn (Kyle) Cook; and her great-grandchildren, Camden, Gloria, Wulfric, Lorelei, Sadie, Walker, Leighton, Briggs, Olivia, Rowan, Case, Greyson, Koreigh, Reagan, Austin, Spencer, Oakley, Kingsley, Harper, Maisyn, Charlotte, Nolan, Owen, and Ila. She is also survived by her sister, Roxanna (Richard) Flickinger, nephews Allen (Kate) Flickinger and Philip (Caren) Flickinger, and great-nieces Ana, Charlotte, Abigail, and Elle.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Harry.
