Judith Schueller (Dies/ Cook) age 79 died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and shrouded with love on Friday March 6th.
Born in Akron, Ohio Judy lived her life with purpose and kindness. Born into the Dies family she was the youngest of 7 children growing up on the family farm on Pressler road. She was a proud graduate of Springfield high school. Judy retired from Coventry local schools after 20 years of service. Family life meant everything to her and she was so proud of her children and grandchildren. In 2007 she met the love of her life and quickly married him, together they shared a life of love and laughter and created an unbreakable bond.
Left to mourn her memory is her husband Richard “Richy”Schueller. Her son Tom Cook his wife Jennifer Twiddy and her beloved grandchildren Taylor Cook & Zander Cook, Erica Abbott (Jeremy) & Alyssa Twiddy. Her daughter Melissa Jones and her husband Matt Jones along with her adored granddaughters Ellana Grace “ Laney” (her fiancé Zach Buchanan) and Molly Ann (her namesake). Also to left to cherish her memories is her beloved sister Donna DeLambo (Roger Bowman), many nieces and 1 nephew and her sister in law Judy Dies and Joy Dies.
Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Velma Dies as well as her brothers William Dies, Robert Dies, Ronald Dies, Gerald Dies and Joseph Dies. Also preceded in death by her granddaughter Savanna Twiddy.
A special thank you for the compassion and dignity shown to her during her last days from Sanctuary Hospice. We will be honoring her love of the color RED during her memorial service and asking all in attendance to do the same.
Mom we love you and will miss you until the end of our days. We count ourselves lucky to have experienced your abounding love and your unwavering devotion to our families. Rest easy momma
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, March 10th from 9 to 11am at Hopkins Lawver Funeral Home. 547 Canton Rd. Akron, OH 44312. Funeral service will begin at 11am with burial to follow at Hillside Memorial Park.
