Juan Manzanares, a devoted man of God and beloved community leader, passed away peacefully in Houston, Texas on March 11, 2026. Born on February 17, 1950, in Tamaulipas, Mexico, Juan lived a life centered on faith, family, and fellowship.
He dedicated many years to spreading the Gospel as a pastor, touching countless lives through his preaching and pastoral care. Known for his warm spirit, great sense of humor, and genuine interest in others, Juan was a true people person whose kindness and deep commitment to his faith inspired everyone around him and created a lasting legacy of love and hope.
He was 76 years old at the time of his passing. Juan is survived by his cherished wife of 53 years, Felicitas, who stood faithfully by his side throughout their marriage. Together they raised seven children: Gabriel Manzanares, Juan Marcos Manzanares, Alma Ruth Manzanares, Maira Judit Alvarado, Asiel Manzanares, Nancy Reyes, and Edith Hinojosa. He is also survived by his siblings, Eva Ochoa, Mirna Manzanares, Maria de Jesus Manzanares, and Carlos Manzanares.
Throughout his life, Juan Manzanares remained a beacon of hope and kindness, always eager to share his faith and uplift those around him. His legacy as a man of God, a loving husband, father, and brother, and a joyful, approachable spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
