In Loving Memory of our Precious Angel
With broken hearts and immeasurable love, we announce the transition of our beloved "Jojo" on March 1, 2026. At 7 seven years old, she was gone far too soon from this life. And though her time with us was brief, her impact is everlasting. Her arrival here on this earth came with its challenges, yet she defied many odds and overcame more than many ever expected.
Jojo was born in Denton, TX and was the first-born daughter of her loving parents, Ricardo and Rae'Etta Sain. As new, young parents who didn't know what to do, they learned very quickly. The Lord was wise to pick them to take care of her, and they did well. Jojo later became a big sister to little Joslina ("Jossy") who loved her sister dearly. She understood the challenges that Jojo had and always wanted to be around her sister.
Jojo received round-the-clock care by some of the best nurses a girl could want. And they became a big part of her and the family's life. We are forever grateful for them.
Though we struggle to understand why her time was so short, we are forever grateful for the time we had with her. She taught us how precious life is, and how we should cherish it. Jojo will always be our first-born blessing, our shining light, and our little unicorn, beautiful and strong.
In addition to her parents and little sister, she is also represented by her great-grandparents, Dennis and Leona Price of Garland, TX, "Abuelita" Elvira Sain of San Antonio, TX; Thomas and Odessa Hale of Raleigh, MS, and Victor and Carol Mathis of Cuero, TX; grandparents, George and Cynthia Sain of San Antonio, TX, Reginald and Jeanetta Watkins of Heartland, TX, and Jarvis Copeland of Ennis, TX; God-parents, Tomi and Tèvon Mitchell of Terrell, TX; uncles, Rafael Sain of San Antonio, TX, and Isiaha Hobbs of Dallas, TX; and a host of extended family and friends.
Now, "Sweet Girl", you can run, play, and sing praises to God all day. Know that you are loved beyond what words can ever express. Until we meet again...
