Joyce Marie Subach

Joyce Marie Subach, age 87, of New Castle, Delaware, passed away on March 7, 2026. Born in Wilmington, Delaware on February 10, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Knoles) Huhn.

Joyce spent many years working in food service for the State of Delaware. She found great joy in her leisure time, whether trying her luck at the casino, playing bingo, pitching horseshoes, or camping with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Alfred Michael Subach, and her siblings, Robert Huhn, James Huhn, Helen Tubbs, and Harriet Barlow. Joyce is survived by her children, Janice Carroll (Bob), Catherine “Kitt” Lopez (Danny), Al Subach Jr., and Robert Subach (Stephanie), her nephew Mike Huhn, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
