Joyce Gniot ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Peterson Chapel – Buffalo on Feb. 23, 2026.Joyce Marie (Gold) Gniot, age 79, of St. Michael, Minnesota passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026 with her husband, Doug and daughter, Angela by her side.Joyce was born on May 7, 1946 to John and Mary (Uffelman) Gold in Miles City, Montana.She loved her husband, dogs (Rosie and Badger), kids, and extended family. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, TV, cooking, and trips with friends. She had a great sense of humor, was a tremendous cook, loved life, and always had a smile on her face.Mother to four children, Tammy (Mike) Pumarlo of Buffalo, Debbie (Anthony) Tschida of Monticello, Angela Orsburne of Elk River, and Michael (Michelle) Gniot of Melrose.Joyce had nineteen grandchildren, Matthew, Kelcie, Janelle, Rachael, Leah, Joshua, Rebecca, Joseph, Elizabeth, Caleb, Nathan, Kayla, Dylan, Logan, Samantha, Dakota, Austin, Tyler, and Brianna. Great-Grandmother to Zinnia, Vada, Isabelle, Nolan, Sonney, Autumn, Lillian, Leif, Emmett, Henry, and Callum. She had many nieces and nephews.She is survived by her husband, Doug.Preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Gold, sister, Marj Moberly, and son-in-law Ryan Orsburne.She will be severely missed by her husband of 60 years, family, and friends.Service for Joyce Gniot will take place Sunday, March 8th, at the Peterson Chapel in St. Michael, MN.
