She was born on May 1, 1938, to Archie and Nancy Gregory.Spending time with her family was the most important part of her life. She spent a good part of her life raising cattle with her husband, which she enjoyed very much.She was an amazing seamstress and owned her own company -Santa Fe Shirt Factory. For 18 years, she occupied a booth at the Houston livestock show and rodeo where she sold many of her one-of-a-kind, custom design western shirts to celebrities such as George Strait, Charley Pride, Jeannie Frickie and many more.Another one of her great joys was fishing and camping, along with bowling and cooking. She loved teaching all of her children, grand and greats to be a good person, take pride in your work and always do something constructive and be presentable! She will be forever be missed and in our hearts.She was preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Nancy (Brewer) Gregory; husband, Donald Jolly; brothers, Billy Gregory, Wiley Gregory; great-grandson, Cody Hansen.Survivors include her sons, Dennis Jolly and wife, Lisa, Darryl Jolly and wife, Tracie; daughters, Brenda Pantalion and husband, Mike, Ramona Laymance all of Santa Fe; 18 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren.Visitation with the family will be at 9:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2026, in the chapel of Hayes Funeral Home, with Pastor Joshua McDonald officiating.Memorials in the form of donations may be made in Joyce's name to Shriners Children's Hospital, 815 Market Street, Galveston, Texas 77550-2725.To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Joyce Gregory Jolly, please visit our floral store.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
