Joyce Evelyn Noyes

Joyce E. Noyes, of Pembroke, passed away on March 13, 2026 at the age of 88. Born on February 13, 1938, she was the beloved daughter of the late James and Alice (Woodworth) Brooks and was raised in Braintree.

She was the devoted wife of the late George Noyes, Sr. Joyce was the loving mother of Robert S. Noyes of Pembroke, Wayne E. Noyes and his wife Kelly of Greenville, Maine, Scott M. Noyes and his wife Laurie of Pembroke, and the late George Noyes, Jr. and his wife Caroline of Halifax. She was the dear sister of the late William Brooks and his wife Drema of LaBelle, Florida. Joyce is survived by nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

For many years she worked as a cafeteria worker at Silver Lake Regional School and later at South Shore Hospital. Joyce cherished traveling with her husband, often sharing fond memories of their more than 25 trips to the Caribbean and the many cruises they enjoyed together.

She will be remembered for her deep love of family, her hardworking spirit, and the quiet joy she found in life’s simple pleasures.
