She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyce Wayne "Hoyt" Donaldson and Ann Louise Panter Donaldson; and her brothers, Jerry Wayne Donaldson (Marcia) and Larry Parks Donaldson. She is survived by: her husband John V Parrish, Jr.; her son Emerson "Jack" Hodges (Victoria Hucks) of Columbia, SC; her sister Brenda D Nesbit of Manning, SC; and her sister-in-law Marcia Donaldson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, step children and step grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home Beach Chapel (11528 Hwy 17, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576). A reception will be held on Saturday, March 14th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
