Joyce D. Stigile

Joyce D. Stigile, age 77, of Georgetown, Delaware and formerly of Holloway Terrace in New Castle, Delaware, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026.

Born in Camden, New Jersey, she was the daughter of Florence Darrington and Paul Holzer. Before retiring, Joyce worked as a waitress and at Brandywine Assisted Living Center. She found quiet joy in tending her garden and cheering for the Eagles. She and her husband took special pride in their festive exterior Christmas lights display each year.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 36 years, Frederick A. Stigile, Sr., who passed away in January 2026; and her sons, Herman Bradt, Jr., who passed in January 2024, and James Bradt, who passed in 2022.

Joyce is survived by her son, Bruce J. Bradt; her granddaughter, Alissa Bradt; her grandson, Jesse Bradt (Jessica); her great-grandchildren, Jane and Jay; and her sister, Patricia Holzer.
