Joyce Ann DeMarco

Joyce Ann DeMarco, of Brandon, Mississippi, passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 91.

Born on September 19, 1934, in Richmond, Virginia, to Randolph C. Burruss and Mabel Ferrel Burruss, Joyce devoted herself to her family with deep care and quiet strength. A beloved wife and mother, she raised her children, stepchildren, and grandchildren with unwavering attention and love. She was a longtime member of Park Place Baptist Church in Pearl.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter Diane Frances Nichols, and her grandson Joseph Vizcarrando.

Joyce is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael DeMarco; her children, Carol Marie Lamey, Charles (Lorrie), Terry Compton (Barry), Bridgette Tulley (Jim), and Cidney Nielsen (Noah); her stepchildren, Angela Dilmore, Michael DeMarco, Jr., and Frank Robert DeMarco; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
