Joyce Beach ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Bennie Smith Funeral Home - Dover on Mar. 10, 2026.Joyce Ann Beach was born in Sisco Town, Virginia, to Willie and Helen Beach on June 11, 1951, and departed this life on March 1, 2026, after a long battle with dementia.Joyce received her education in Virginia, and in 1983, she moved to Delaware. She worked in several positions within the poultry industry for many years before becoming an employee of Delmarva Cleaning Services, where she remained until 2013. Later, she worked at the Dover Mall until her retirement in 2021.Joyce was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church in Dover, Delaware, for many years until her illness.Joyce loved to dance. She truly enjoyed playing Phase 10, shopping, and completing crossword puzzles.Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Helen Beach, and her grandparents, Samuel and Charlotte (Lottie) Beach.Those left to cherish her memory include her brother, Jeride (Mona) Beach; her aunt, Ruth Major; her five children: Shawn Beach (Roselle), Jacqueline Brown (Kevin), Mitchell Stanley (Jollea), Pierre Stanley, and Timmara Stanley; her grandchildren: Shanté Cruz-Ortiz, Deshawn Cruz-Ortiz, Kwame Stanley, Mitchell Stanley, Jr., Pierre Stanley, Jr., Makayla Stanley, Fredinando McRae, Jr., Brooklyn McRae, Jasir Wyatte, Leionna Williams, and Ace Abrams; eleven great-grandchildren; two nephews, Jeride (Latonya) Beach, Jr. and Lamont Harmon; one niece, Christine Heathe; six great-nieces and nephews; and one great-great nephew.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
