She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles W. Burns and Irene M. Burns (Bankert); her husband Bernard M. Groft; and her brothers, Alvin, William, John and Earl Burns.

She is survived by: her sons, Lenny J. Groft (Sandra Graybeal-Groft) of Havre de Grace, MD and Lonnie J. Groft of Hanover; her grandsons, Drew, Austin and Josh Groft; and her niece Connie Kennedy.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Panebaker Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Inc. (311 Broadway, Hanover, PA 17331). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, March 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
