Joy Dillard

The memory of Joy Dillard of Cross Plains, Texas, who passed away on March 6, 2026 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Rutledge and Ruby Rutledge; her siblings, Edna, Lois, Gal, Frances, Elmo (Jiggs), Elwood (Mutt), Lee, Alfred and Leonard; her husband Billy Dale Dillard Sr. of Cross Plains; and her grandsons, River Pace Dillard and Justin Miles Glasscock.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Lynn Glasscock, Roy Dean and Bud; her grandchildren, Angela, Laska, Bree, Rowdy, Cutter and Bronc; her granddaughter-in-law Chloe; and her children-in-law, Bill and Becky. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Higginbotham Funeral Home - Cross Plains (309 NE Fourth St, Cross Plains, TX 76443). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 20th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Cross Plains Memorial Park.
