Chillicothe Josiah W. Wagner, 67 of Chillicothe, passed away on Sunday, March 8th at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, following a brief illness. He was born on November 4th, 1958, in Pensacola, Florida. Josiah is survived by the love of his life and fiancé, Jeannine Holmes; a daughter, Jennifer Lei Wooten of Waverly, Ohio; brothers, Samuel Wagner of Brooksville, Florida, and John (Thresia) Wagner of Pebbles, Ohio; sisters, Dianne Holbrook of Beaver, Ohio, and Juanita Stephens of Waverly, Ohio; granddaughter, Victoria and grandson, Adam Straight; and several nieces and nephews. He was a loving and caring father figure to Miranda, Jessica, Ashley, Shannon, and Josh Thacker; a very special loved one, Trevor Goldsberry; his best friend, Shelby Roush; and numerous friends and family. Josiah was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Wagner, and mother, Joan O'Bryan Horsley; his loving grandparents, Wayne and Mildred O'Bryan, who raised Josiah; and 2 sons, Eric Moran and Adam Wagner. Josiah was loved by everyone he met, and he was always willing to help a friend. He was a retired carpenter and enjoyed woodworking in his shop. Josiah was a huge sports fan, and he served in the National Guard for a short time. He will be sadly missed by all. Friends and family are welcome to pay their respects and share memories at a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, March 21st at 5:30pm at Gristmill Church, 3300 Valley/Clines Chapel Road in Waverly, Ohio, with Rev.
