March 22, 1981— March 8, 2026
Amoret, MO
Joshua T. Bradley, age 44, of Amoret, Missouri, passed away at his home on March 8, 2026. He was born on March 22, 1981, to Nancy Schmidt in Butler, Missouri.
One of five brothers, Josh grew up in Bates County and attended school in Butler, Hume, and Miami. He was a loyal employee at Longarm for 24 years, where he formed many lasting friendships. Known for his kind and giving nature, Josh was always ready to lend a helping hand, whether fixing something around the house or offering support to those who needed it. A hard worker both on the job and at home, he possessed an infectious laugh and a generous heart. He loved hunting and took great joy in teaching others about the outdoors and firearms.
Josh was a devoted uncle whose nieces adored him. He could always be counted on for everything from earning them spending money to teaching them how to sharpen a marshmallow stick with a pocket knife or patiently letting them practice with a taser. He happily drove his truck around the property with them, even when they fibbed about having permission. A brother who brought both laughter and occasional exasperation, he lived a simple life with his brother Bj, caring for the animals he collected and canning food in abundance. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and will forever hold a special place in their hearts.
He is survived by his four brothers: Glenn Wisdom and wife Sherri of Kansas City, Jerry Bradley and wife Courtney of Adrian, Billy Bradley of Amoret, and Donald Bradley of Kansas City.
