Joshua M. Becht

Joshua M. Becht, age 54, of Kaisertown, passed away surrounded by the love of his family on Wednesday, March 11, 2026.

Born in Buffalo, New York, on February 29, 1972, Joshua was the son of the late Douglas and Colleen (née Walsh) Becht. He worked as a truck driver for Russell’s Tree and Landscape in East Amherst. He was a devoted father to Heavenleigh Becht, the late Haley Becht, and Hannah Becht, and a cherished grandfather to Adriona Zuppa and Bobby Meier. Joshua is also survived by his loving brother Shawn (John David) Smith and sister Nicole (John Jacob) Jenkins, as well as fond nieces and nephews Sara Wigdor, Zachery Smith, and John Jenkins, along with great-nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends.

He will be remembered as a great dad and a loyal friend who was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. Joshua had a deep love for Harley-Davidson motorcycles and his beloved dogs, Bubba and Pedro.

He leaves behind a family who will carry his memory with them always.
