Joshua Lynn Caldwell

Joshua "Josh" Caldwell, born on October 6, 1975, in King County, Washington, passed away unexpectedly on March 8, 2026. He was a resident of Bessemer City, North Carolina, where he established deep roots and countless friendships. Josh was a dedicated landscaper, pouring his heart into his work and showcasing his commitment to beautifying the world around him.

Josh was known for his big heart and infectious smile, always bringing joy to those lucky enough to know him. He was a loving father, who cherished his children immensely, and his love for family was evident in everything he did. A kind friend to all, Josh had a way of making everyone feel valued and welcomed in his presence.

Josh leaves behind his beloved children, Greyson Caldwell, Zeppelin Caldwell, Daenerys "Dani" Caldwell, Kyser Caldwell, Payton Caldwell, Hazel Caldwell; significant other, Brooke Cline; brother, Chad Caldwell (Crystal); grandfather, Kenneth Caldwell; aunt, Cheryl Lindsay (Al); nieces and nephews, Cody Caldwell, CeeCee Caldwell, Hannah Caldwell; and other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Josh was preceded in death by his father, Wayne Mosley; mother, Cathy Thornburg Caldwell; and grandmother, Hazel Caldwell who raised him.

The family will honor Josh's memory with a service that reflects the warmth and kindness he shared. Future arrangements for a memorial service will be announced, providing an opportunity for friends and family to come together to celebrate his life.

Josh Caldwell will be deeply missed, but his spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.
