Joseph "Joey" Healy died suddenly on Monday, March 16, 2026. He was 65 years old. Everyone who met him fell in love with his sparkling blue eyes and his deep wonderful voice. He was a good man who only wanted to provide for his family, never asking for anything for himself. He was stronger and worked harder than any man we know.Joey was employed as Shop Supervisor by Package Pavement in Stormville for the last 14 years, where he was an essential part of keeping the trucks and equipment rolling with his skill as a diesel mechanic and welder. He was also a Veteran of the United States Navy, where he served for six years on active duty.Joe leaves behind his wife, Mary, to which he was married for 40 years. He also has three beautiful children, Joseph Jr. (Nicole), Erin (Nat), and Jeffrey (Erin). He is predeceased by his father, Martin "Bud" Healy. He is survived by his mother, Joan Marinaro, his amazing brothers, Tom (Fred) and Johnny (Lisa); his sisters, Traci (Tom) and Renee; and his stepmother, Connie. He has many amazing cousins, nieces and nephews, and his friends and co-workers are too many to name. He was taken so soon and so quickly and will be missed deeply and sorrowfully.Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 19th from 4 - 8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 20th at 11 am at the funeral home followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery where the US Navy will conduct military honors.
